Vinte e cinco anos após o lançamento do multi-benefício músico single, "We Are The World", o produtor Quincy Jones confirmou que ele está tramando uma nova versão com estrelas mais quentes de hoje. A sessão terá lugar em um histórico de Hollywood & M complexo onde a canção original foi gravada em 1985.

Jones diz com a terrível situação no Haiti, o remake do Michael Jackson-canção escrita é "timing perfeito". "Não é um acidente, o homem. Que Deus ", ele disse E! colunista Marc Malkin. "Será" We Are the World "para o Haiti."

A nova gravação, que será lançado com as receitas reverterão para ajudar vítimas do terremoto com o Haiti, será gravado na segunda - feira fevereiro 1, em Los Angeles, para aproveitar as muitas estrelas na cidade para o 52o Grammy Awards anual a ter lugar na noite anterior . Escrito por Michael Jackson e Lionel Richie, a versão recém-gravado da música vai beneficiar esforços após o terremoto no Haiti.
